Empower Our Families: A Joint Mission of Heart and Community

Chic in the Mirror has officially partnered with Love Our Kids, Families, and Community to launch a powerful initiative—Empower Our Families.

This collaboration was born from a shared passion for community service, led by two visionaries with deep roots in Detroit.

Belinda Washington, founder of Chic in the Mirror, was born and raised in Detroit and moved to Las Vegas in 2006. Though now based in Nevada, her heart has never left her hometown. Belinda has dedicated countless volunteer hours to supporting underserved communities and has hosted multiple conferences and empowerment events for both women and girls. Her work focuses on leadership, healing, and helping others embrace their identity and voice.

Her ongoing commitment to empowering families found a perfect match in Dice Clark, a respected community leader, activist, and founder of Love Our Kids, Families, and Community.

Dice Clark is widely known and deeply loved throughout Detroit for his tireless philanthropic work and grassroots outreach. His dedication to uplifting youth, supporting single-parent households, and creating safe spaces for families has earned him a trusted reputation and lasting legacy in the community. From organizing city-wide school supply giveaways and mentorship programs to holiday drives and neighborhood empowerment events, Dice has consistently shown up where he’s needed most.

Together, Belinda and Dice have formed Empower Our Families, a joint venture created to bridge communities, restore confidence, and build strong family foundations through events, mentorship, resources, and empowerment programming.

Whether in Detroit, Las Vegas, or beyond, Empower Our Families is dedicated to sparking hope, building resilience, and creating lasting impact—one family at a time.
